Expatriate doctors to benefit Salary hike awaits CSC approval
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 15: The salary increment for expatriate doctors is waiting for approval of Chairperson of the Civil Service Commission Sheikh Mohammad Al-Sabah, after which it will be forwarded to the Health Ministry for payment procedures, reports Al-Dar daily.
A source said the commission has approved KD 260 for registrars, KD 250 for assistant registrars, KD 400 for senior registrars, and KD 560 for specialists, KD 650 for senior specialists and KD 740 for consultants.
He explained that the increment include nature of job allowance and call duties. He indicated that the ministry and Kuwait Medical Association demanded for better package for expatriate doctors, which should include travel ticket and sponsor of children education at private schools.
