I used to live in Kuwait and left 3 years ago after a 10- year stay. Now I am back in the country on a visit visa and I want to know whether I can still use my Kuwaiti driving license. I never got it cancelled and it is valid until 2013.

Answer: No, you can’t. You can only use the license if you have residence in Kuwait. Visitors can only drive on an International Driving License. So, please don’t drive on that license because if you are checked by the Traffic police you could be detained.
