Both of my children were born in Kuwait and in May 2008 I cancelled their residence and they went to India for schooling. Their passports were issued in Kuwait and are valid until 18/03/2011. Now they are coming on visit visas for 1 month (visa 3 months valid) to Kuwait in this month. On the visas passport number is of the current one.
If I renew the passport in Kuwait, the passport number mentioned on the visit visa will be the old one. Is there anything wrong in renewing the passports.

Answer: No, there is nothing wrong with renewing the passport here in Kuwait. All you need to do is attach the old passport to the new one. Or alternatively you can go to the Immigration Dept in your area and get the details changed in their data base.
