Colleague blackmailed - Threatens to post photos and video clips

KUWAIT CITY, May 16: A female employee of the Interior Ministry lodged a complaint accusing a colleague of blackmailing her and threatening to post her photos and video clips on the Internet if she did not meet him in an apartment, reports Al-Rai daily.
The complainant said she used to chat with her colleague on the Internet and sent him some of her photos in revealing clothes.
Police will summon the colleague for questioning.


Drug addict nabbed: Police officers on routine patrol in Salmiya area nabbed a Kuwaiti citizen after they discovered the man was under the influence of drugs.
According to security sources, the officers spotted the suspect’s vehicle that was parked in front of a school and approached it car. They discovered drug related tools after a search inside the car. He was referred to the concerned authority without delay.

Kidnapper threatens cop: Police arrested a drunk Kuwaiti youth for attempting to kidnap a compatriot girl and threatening an officer on duty with a knife, reports Al-Anba daily.
The girl reportedly called police saying a youth, who used to send her romantic text messages, suddenly appeared in person and is trying to kidnap her in Mubarak Al-Kabeer area. Police promptly rushed to her rescue and when they confronted the youth, he allegedly brandished a knife, but securitymen overpowered him and referred him to authorities.

Drugs kill Asian: An Asian man died of drug overdose inside his car in Shuwaikh Industrial Area, reports Al-Rai daily.
Sources say police rushed to the place on receiving information about a man lying motionless inside his car and after realizing that he already died, referred the remains to forensics. Initial forensic examination revealed that the man died due to an overdose of drugs.

Flee bid foiled: Officials at the Kuwait International Airport foiled a Pakistani man’s attempt to leave the country on a forged passport and referred him to authorities, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
It was later discovered that the Pakistani was wanted by law.

Robbery at Shuwaikh shop: Police are looking for burglars who broke into a shop in Shuwaikh Industrial Area and escaped with gas cylinders, batteries and auto parts worth KD 60,000, reports Al-Shahid daily.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits.
