Tagine of almonds and raisins

 Ingredients:
1 kg meat;
3 or 4 onions, sliced;
3 or 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped;
1 tsp salt;
1 tsp ginger;
1/2 tsp turmeric;
1/2  tsp saffron;
1/4 tsp black pepper;
1/4  tsp white pepper;
1 cinnamon stick;
1/3  cup vegetable oil;
200 g golden raisins;
1/2 cup almonds;
1 tsp ground cinnamon;
3 tbsp sugar

Method: In a pressure cooker, mix the meat with the onions, garlic, spices and oil. Brown the meat over medium-high heat, uncovered. Add about 3-1/2 cups of water, and cover. Cook with pressure for about 45 minutes. Add the raisins, ground cinnamon and sugar. Simmer, partially covered, for 15 to 20 minutes until the raisins are plump and the sauce is thick and syrupy.
