KUWAIT CITY, July 12: The Ministry of Justice is determined to implement a previous agreement it made with the Ministry of Interior to ensure the Border Department and other relevant sectors ease the traveling procedures for people on travel ban, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The daily quoted an official source as saying the Execution Department at the Ministry of Justice will hold meetings with representatives from the Interior Ministry in that regard, and added the officials will investigate the traveling ban procedure, seeing that officials are preventing travelers from making their trips due to the financial obligations they haven’t fulfilled.
Previously, the ministry adopted similar measures whereby debtors were allowed to settle their debts at the airport, whereas the officials transferred data to the various points of entry through the computer.
He noted the ministry has required the officials to remove the travel ban on debtors, immediately after payment, so they can travel without further delay.
