Iranian, Pakistani in drug trade

Kuwait City, Oct 23: An Iranian expatriate working at a company for manufacturing bricks and a Pakistani were apprehended by security operatives for consuming and trading in drugs.
A team of detectives was formed to bring the suspects to justice, following a report the General Director of Anti-drug General Unit received about their activities.
In the meantime, an undercover agent sealed a deal with the Iranian to supply a kilo of hashish for KD 1,200 and he was arrested while delivering the contraband.
The Iranian led securitymen to his work place, where an additional 14 kilos of hashish were found, in addition to opium and heroin. He admitted to trading in drugs and named his accomplice as a Pakistani, who reportedly supplied him with drugs. The suspects have since been handed over to the concerned authority for further investigation.

Meanwhile, Ahmadi police arrested an Asian for selling local made alcohol in Mangaf area, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
A police patrol on routine duty caught the trafficker in possession of a polyethylene bag which contained 24 pouches of local made brew. Police also seized a bucket and a canister containing alcohol from his possession and referred him to Abu Halifa Police Station.

34 bottles with Asian: Ahmadi securitymen arrested an Asian man for the possession of 34 bottles of local alcohol.
While on duty in the area, police noticed the suspicious behavior of the Asian, so they asked him to stop for inspection.  When they searched his vehicle, police found 34 bottles of locally brewed alcohol.  They referred the Asian to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action
