Egyptian Artist draws portrait of naked woman on beach

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 19: Securitymen apprehended an Egyptian artist while he was drawing a portrait of a naked woman at a famous beach in Salmiya. He was referred to the concerned authority for necessary action.

‘Wanted’ arrested: The Farwaniya police have arrested an unidentified man who was wanted by law in connection with a KD 16,000 fraud and kidnapping his four daughters, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to a security source the man was arrested during Eid al-Adha holidays because he tried in vain to escape when he saw a police patrol.
After checking his name on a police computer, securitymen discovered he was wanted for fraud and also for kidnapping his daughters.
He is being detained at the Farwaniya Police Station and the girls have been handed over to their mother.

3 held with drugs: An unidentified Iranian man who was caught with 150 grams of heroin has been referred to the General Department for Drug Control, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting security sources said the Director-General of the Department Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah Al-Khalifa acting on information that the suspect was making use of his work premises to sell drugs, assigned securitymen to monitor his activities and caught him red-handed while selling 150 grams of heroin to an undercover police agent.
Further investigations revealed the suspect arrived at the Shuwaikh Port with the drugs and managed to give a slip to the customs officials by hiding the drugs into his clothes.
Meanwhile, the Ahmadi police have arrested two Asians for trafficking in drugs and possessing six pieces of marijuana, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to a security source the men were arrested on suspicion while parking their car near a building under construction in Mangaf.
The daily added as the cops approached the men they tried in vain to escape but police managed to seize them and confiscated from them the marijuana.
They have been referred to the authorities.

Liquor seized: The Ahmadi police have arrested three Indians for possessing 88 bottles of locally-manufactured liquor in two separate incidents, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily added one of the Indians was arrested by a police patrol on duty in Fahaheel and seized from him 28 bottles of liquor.
The two other men were arrested in the same locality with 60 bottles of booze.
The bootleggers have been referred to the concerned authorities.
