GCC expat nabbed in drug trading, practicing magic
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 23: A citizen of an unidentified GCC state has been referred to the Criminal Investigation Department for trafficking in drugs and practicing black magic, reports Al-Anba daily.
The man was arrested on suspicion while driving along the Sixth Ring Road. When police asked him to show his ID, he looked confused.
Police then searched his car and seized 650 narcotic pills and KD 450 in cash in addition to various types of objects which are normally used by people practicing black magic.
He has been referred to the concerned authorities.
Drinking in tent: The Bayan police have arrested four Asians for drinking alcohol in a public place and causing disturbance to others, reports Al-Anba daily.
It has been reported the men pitched a tent outside the home of a Kuwaiti man and were consuming alcohol.
Acting on information police rushed to the spot and arrested the drunkards and referred them to the concerned authorities.
Crane wrecks all: Three buildings were damaged when a heavy duty crane hired by a telecommunications company was lifting a power transformer to the roof of one of the buildings, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to reports the incident happened in Salwa. The driver of the crane reportedly lost balance of the vehicle due to overload.
The parking shed of one of the buildings was totally damaged in addition to the cars which were parked in the shed.
However, no human casualties have been reported.
Bold cheats: Two persons have been arrested by the personnel working for the Farwaniya Traffic Department for running unlicensed transport offices, reports Al-Rai daily.
It has also been reported the suspects were staying in the country illegally and driving the vehicles without license.
