Visa transfer for Graduates
I was hired by a company from my country and I came to Kuwait on a work visa. I have been working in my current company for 1 year and 3 months. I am a graduate. What is the best thing to do to leave my current company. My new company is willing to get me a work permit for me in case my current employer does not give me a release.
Name withheld
Answer: As you are a graduate you can do a local transfer but only if your current employer gives you a release. There is no way you can transfer to the company you want unless your current employer okays the move. So, if your current employer refuses to give you a release, ask the new company to get you a work permit. Then you can get the current residence cancelled, leave the country and return on the new document.
