Iranian woman escapes kidnap bid by Iraqi man Students find new ways to cheat

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 13: An unidentified Iranian woman has filed a complaint with the police accusing an Iraqi man of attempting to kidnap her when she was in the company of her sister at an unidentified café, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
In her complaint to the police the woman said she was with her sister. They were walking to their car when the suspect tried to grab her into his car.
When she screamed for help the suspect escaped. She has provided police details of the suspect’s car.

New ways to cheat: Six students who broke into a secondary school at night to write answers under their desks with the intention to cheat during exams have been referred to the Juvenile Prosecution, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the school guard saw some movement in the school and called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior.
Policemen dispatched to the area caught the students red-handed and handed them over to the authorities.
They have been charged with breaking into a school with intent to cheat during exams.

Iraqis detained: The Public Prosecution has ordered indefinite detention of the four Iraqis who were captured by the Kuwait Coast Guard following the death of a Kuwaiti lance corporal in mid-sea encounter, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The men are facing the charges of killing a cop on duty after illegally entering Kuwait’s territorial waters in addition to possessing weapons.

Citizen stabbed: Police are looking for two unidentified persons for allegedly stabbing a citizen, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to reports the Kuwaiti has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Al-Jahra Hospital.
Sources say the victim from his hospital bed told investigators he heard the suspects talking to the maid in a low voice. When he opened the door he caught the suspects red-handed and the latter beat and stabbed him and escaped. The maid has been summoned for interrogation.
