Juveniles attack, rob Asian grocery caretaker Drunkard scares people with gun
KUWAIT CITY, March 6: An Asian caretaker of a mobile grocery told officers on routine patrol on the Wafra Motorway that two juveniles had attacked and robbed him at knife point.
He provided the officers with description of the suspects, and their information was circulated to various checkpoints.
In a few hours, securitymen managed to arrest the suspects. They were referred to the concerned authority without delay after the Asian was able to identify them.
Drunkard held: A drunken Kuwaiti man was taken into custody by security operatives after the Operations Room of the Interior received a report late Saturday night about a man threatening passersby with a weapon in Salmiya area.
Sources said the man, with the weapon, was taken to the Rumaithiya Police Station after securitymen arriving at the scene discovered he was heavily intoxicated. A case was registered against him.
Account hacked: A Kuwaiti woman filed a case in Jahra Police Station and reported an unknown person managed to withdraw money from her account at the bank, even though her bank cards are not missing. A case has been registered for investigation to trail the thief.
Egyptian attacked: Two Asians attacked and severely injured an Egyptian expatriate in Khaitan area. Based on report, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the scene to assist the injured person.
Sources said the perpetraters managed to escape from the scene at the sight of police but police have registered the case for investigation to arrest them. In the meantime, the injured Egyptian was referred to the Farwaniya Hospital for medical attention.
ATV stolen: A Kuwaiti citizen in his 40s filed a case in Sulaibikhat police station and reported that thieves stole an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) he parked in front of his house in the same area. Police registered the case for investigation.
