KUWAIT CITY, March 19: Police are questioning an Asian woman for attempting to get rid of the corpse of her lover who died in her flat, reports Al-Rai daily.
A police source said the caretaker of a building in Salmiya called police when he saw the woman dragging the dead body of a man.
Police rushed to the place, arrested the woman and referred the corpse to Forensics. The Forensic report stated that the victim died of heart failure after consuming a pill of Viagra.
The Asian woman said she befriended the man (a grocer) two months ago and he used to give her whatever she wanted from the grocery free of charge. She said the victim requested to meet her in her flat and she welcomed him, but was shocked on finding him motionless after a short time. She said she wanted to get rid of his corpse to avoid legal problems.

Maid rapist held: Jahra police have arrested an Asian man who earlier broke into a house in Jahra, raped an Asian housemaid and fled with her money, reports Al-Rai daily.
Investigations conducted by securitymen led to the arrest of the rapist and the maid recognized him in a legal lineup. The thief later admitted to committing two similar crimes in the area.

Cops not delivery boys: Police have arrested an unidentified person for consuming alcohol and disturbing police, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source said a person in Umm Al-Haiman called the Operations Department of the Interior Ministry, saying some people broke into his house. Police rushed to the place and were shocked when the caller talked to policemen as if they came to deliver food and said he did not call any restaurant. Police then realized that the caller was high on alcohol.

Client abuses lawyer: An unidentified lawyer filed a complaint at Salhiya Police Station, accusing a female client of verbally abusing her, reports Al-Rai daily. The lawyer said the client made a phone call to her and started abusing her for no reason. The client will be summoned for questioning.

Yemeni cheats Kuwaiti: Police are looking for a Yemeni trader who allegedly betrayed the trust of a Kuwaiti man and escaped with KD 25,000, reports Al-Anba daily.
The Kuwaiti, in his police complaint, said he did business with the Yemeni several times and that the latter proved honest in many transactions. Hence, he gave him KD 25,000 and asked him to invest, but the Yemeni took the money and disappeared.
