Carrot tomato smoothie
Ingredients:
- 4 medium carrots;
- 2 medium tomatoes;
- 2 tbsp lemon Juice;
- 1/2 stalk celery (chopped);
- ice cubes as required;
- salt to taste.
Method: cut the carrots into 1/2 inch cubes and tomatoes into quarters and freeze them for some time. Put the frozen tomato cubes in a blender and blend it until smooth. Add the frozen carrots and blend again. Add the ice cubes, fresh lemon juice and blend together again. Serve it in a stemmed glass chilled.
