KUWAIT CITY, June 4: Salmiya securitymen arrested 20 Chinese women for practicing prostitution under the cover of offering massage services, reports Al-Anba daily.
A security source said police are looking for 100 other women involved in the same trade. The women reportedly paid bribes to middlemen in both China and Kuwait and entered the country on visit visas sponsored by fake companies.
The arrested women will undergo medical tests to check whether they are suffering from any venereal diseases.

American held: Police have arrested an American man for driving under the influence of drugs and referred him to authorities, reports Al-Anba daily.
The American was initially stopped for driving recklessly on the Fahaheel Expressway and on inspection, police found an unspecified quantity of marijuana in his possession. The American said the marijuana was for his personal use.

Drugs seized: Customs officers at the Kuwait International Airport arrested a Kuwaiti man in his 30s for attempting to smuggle drugs into the country, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The suspect was coming from an Arab state and appeared nervous on approaching the inspection desk.
Officers found two fingers of hashish in the suspect’s possession and referred him to authorities.

Brother attacked: Police arrested a Kuwaiti man for attempting to kill his brother, reports Al-Anba daily.
The man shot at the brother about a week ago and investigations conducted by securitymen led to his arrest in Shuwaikh area. Police also found out that he was wanted by law for assaulting and stealing money from a Bedoun.

Police robbed: Police are looking for three persons who attacked a policeman in Sulaibiya and escaped after snatching KD 190 from him, reports Al-Rai daily.
A police source said the suspects attacked as soon as the policeman came out after withdrawing money from an ATM outlet.

Thieves sought: Police are looking for two thieves for breaking into the vehicles of two Kuwaiti men in Umm Al-Haiman area and stealing KD 600 and credit cards from one car and KD 130, credit cards and a cell phone from the other, reports Al-Anba daily.

Trespasser, drunk: A Bangladeshi man was caught while climbing the fence of a camp of the National Guard, reports Al-Rai daily.
The guards at the camp caught the Bangladeshi, who was high on alcohol, and referred him to Andalous Police Station.

Actress assaulted: Police have arrested three youngsters for consuming alcohol, abusing and assaulting an actress and her sister while they were walking along a street in Salmiya, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The youths were referred to authorities.
