Moroccan woman and an Arab man caught in the ‘act’ Police arrest 40-year-old citizen for failing to pay KD 4,600 debt

KUWAIT CITY, June 30: Police have arrested a 40-year-old Kuwaiti for failing to pay KD 4,600 debt, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
According to security sources the suspect was caught in Abu Halifah by a police patrol.
He has been handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department.

Expat in betrayal of trust: A Kuwaiti man has filed a complaint with the Jahra police accusing his Egyptian employee of betrayal of trust, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to sources the suspect works for a mobile phone shop and he reportedly sold the cell phones for half the price and left the country with the money.
The daily added when the salesmen of adjoining shops complained to the owner the next day, the complainant rushed to the shop but found it locked.
He tried in vain to contact the salesman but found his cell phone switched off.

Family members beaten up: Police have taken into custody an unidentified Kuwaiti man for assaulting members of his family and causing destruction of moveable property, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The daily quoting security sources said when the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior received a call from the family police rushed to the home and arrested the man.
At the time of the arrest the man was under the influence of alcohol. Police are also said to have seized from the man’s bedroom a bottle of liquor and drugs. It has also been reported the man was wanted by law in a criminal case. He has been handed over to the concerned authorities.
Meanwhile, a GCC citizen, whose identity has not been disclosed, has been arrested by police for allegedly beating his elderly father, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The suspect has been detained at the Taima Police Station. According to security sources the son had been deported from the country five years ago for an unidentified reason.
Police reports show the son entered the country illegally. He has been handed over to the concerned authorities

Baby handed over to hospital: A new-born baby found abandoned near the entrance of an Asian embassy in Jabriya has been handed over to the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the baby was found by employees of the embassy.
Police are looking for the baby’s mother.

Lovers caught in the ‘act’: A Moroccan woman and an Arab man wearing dishdasha have been arrested for committing immoral acts in public, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to reports some passersby saw the couple making love inside a parked car near one of the well-known commercial complexes in Farwaniya and informed the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior.
Acting on information the Ahmadi police rushed to the spot and caught the couple red-handed. According to reliable sources they were semi-naked.

Customs officer sent to PP: The Director-General of General Department for Drugs Control Major-General Sheikh Ahmed Al-Khalifa has referred a Kuwaiti customs officer to the Public Prosecution for possessing drugs, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to reports the suspect was caught in possession of drugs near his home in Salwa.
The daily added police armed with a search and arrest warrant raided the man’s home and seized six pieces of hashish.
