Murder not ruled out in Asian’s death Citizen falls to his death; drug overdose kills 3 KUWAIT CITY, July 29: The remains of an unidentified Asian man which were found on the Canada Dry Street in Shuwaikh have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily said police have not ruled out murder because blood was oozing out from the man’s mouth when personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department took possession of the corpse. According to a security source, the Operations Department of the Interior Ministry was informed by a passerby. Initial reports show the victim died as a result of a heavy blow to the head. A deep wound was clearly visible on the head. Police are investigating the death.
Citizen falls from 5th floor: A 34-year-old Kuwaiti fell to his death from the fifth floor of a building in Hassawi, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. When the Operation Department of the Ministry of Interior received a report on the incident, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the spot and referred the remains of the man to Forensics. Police have not ruled out murder. Police investigations into the death of the man are continuing.
3 die of drug overdose: In less than 48 hours three Kuwaitis are said to have succumbed to an overdose of drugs consumption, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. According to the daily, a 40-year old Kuwaiti man was reported dead inside his home in Khaitan while another 40-year-old Kuwaiti was found dead at an unidentified sports club. Acting on information paramedics and police rushed to both the areas and handed over the corpses to the personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department.
Initial reports show the men died of an overdose of drugs. In the third incident a watchman of a commercial complex called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior when he saw the man not responding to calls. The man allegedly died with the drug needle in his arm. His remains have been referred to Forensics.
