Fingerprint traps 350 expatriates Forgers held at airport

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 10: The security authorities recently foiled attempts by 350 expatriates to enter the country on forged passports, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting knowledgeable security sources.
The persons were detained upon arrival at the Kuwait International Airport and returned them to the point of origin.
The sources added the fingerprint system being introduced at the airport showed the men were administratively deported from the country and that they returned on forged passports.
Meanwhile, the Court of Appeals recently upheld the verdict of the lower court and declared null and void the divorce between a Kuwaiti man and his wife, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
Case papers show, the Kuwaiti works as a manager in an unidentified firm and he reportedly divorced his wife through an SMS.
The court ruled the husband is capable of speaking and should have done so in person.
And, police are looking for four persons, including a Kuwaiti, for stealing KD 3,000 from a bedoun. The theft occurred in Salhiya, reports Al-Rai daily.
The bedoun has filed a complaint with the Salhiya Police Station. In his complaint the bedoun said the thieves beat him and stole the money from his car.
