Coconut patties
Ingredients:
- 3 c Sugar
- 1/4 c Sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 c Water
- 2 c Coconut
- 1-1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 c Chopped nuts
- 1 tbsp Butter or butter substitute
- 3 tbsp Cocoa
Method: Combine sugar and cocoa. Add milk and water. Boil to soft ball stage (234 -238 F). Cool to room temperature. Add coconut and nuts. Add butter and flavoring. Beat until mixture begins to thicken. Drop on waxed paper in small pats.
