‘Yoga’ at roadside; Liquor ‘knockout’
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 8: An unidentified youth who was caught performing ‘yoga’ by a roadside has been arrested by the police, reports Al-Anba daily.
The youth’s identity has not been disclosed, and according to police unidentified persons called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior when they saw the strange behavior.
When police rushed to the spot they discovered he was under the influence of alcohol.
Drunkard nabbed: A 40 year-old Kuwaiti has been arrested by the Sabah Al-Salem police for drinking alcohol, reports Al-Anba daily. The arrest came after the drunkard’s 34-year-old brother complained to the police.
Liquor ‘knockout’: When unidentified motorists saw a man slumped on the steering wheel off a road in Salmi, they feared the man was dead and called the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
However, when the police reached the spot they opened the door of the vehicle and got the smell of alcohol.
They then discovered the man was fast asleep and was high on alcohol.
Burglar hits shop: Police are looking for an unidentified burglar who allegedly broke into a ready-made garments shop in Sharq and stole KD 170 from the cash machine, reports Al-Dar daily.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the thief.
Worker keeps cash: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the Khaitan Police Station accusing her Asian employee of betrayal of trust, reports Al-Rai daily.
She added she gave the man KD 1,000 to pay the rent of the shop and the man allegedly kept the money for his use.
When the woman tried to contact the man, she discovered he has switched off his mobile. Police are looking for the man.
