Pakistani held taking pictures of Indian Embassy
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 24:Police arrested a Pakistani man for taking photos of the Indian Embassy in the country, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The Pakistani sped up on sensing police presence, but he was chased and arrested. Police seized from him a camera containing photos of the embassy taken from different angles. The Pakistani has been referred to the State Security.
Bedoun arrested: Police arrested a Bedoun youth for taking photos of the Iraqi Embassy in Dai’ya and referred him to the State Security for questioning, reports Al-Rai daily.
Theft at company: Police are looking for a burglar who broke into a construction company in Funiatees and escaped with six computers and KD 6,000, reports Al-Anba daily.
The manager of the company said financial information about the company, feasibility studies on various projects, in addition to the list of VIP clients were stored in the computers.
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department lifted fingerprints from the scene.
‘Mandoub’ thief: Police are looking for a representative (mandoub) of a contracting company in Ahmadi for betraying the trust of his employer, reports Al-Anba daily.
The mandoub allegedly pocketed the KD 1,500 he took from the company to renew the residence of workers and escaped. Sources say the passports of workers were later found in a dustbin within the company.
31 illegals nabbed: Farwaniya police arrested 31 Asians for violating residence and labor laws during a six-hour comprehensive campaign in the area and referred them to authorities, reports Al-Qabas daily.
