25 youths arrested as police look for killer of Iranian teen
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 9: Hawally securitymen have so far rounded up 25 youths as they continue investigations on the killing of an Iranian youth inside a famous complex in Salmiya on the second day of Eid Al-Adha.
Security sources confirmed the officers have stepped up measures to arrest the murderer, who stabbed the victim four times. Sources said the stabbing incident happened when two groups of youths engaged in a fistfight in the shopping complex. Sources revealed a number of those involved in the fight are still under investigation.
Sources added another youth, an Egyptian, who also suffered stab wounds is now confined at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. Securitymen are waiting for his health condition to improve before questioning him on the incident. Sources admitted the investigators are still in the dark as to the identity of the killer but they have been instructed to exert more efforts to ensure justice for the victims.
