KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2: A 40-year-old citizen filed a cases against another citizen who allegedly cheated him of KD 5,500 after he had promised to sell a vehicle.
The man narrated to officers in Rawda police station that his compatriot escaped after collecting the money, and his mobile has since been switched. A case has since been registered against him.

Grocery store broken into: A Kuwaiti in his 40s told officers in Maidan Hawalli police station that three thieves raided his grocery store in the same area and stole KD 344 in cash, recharge cards worth KD 80 and other items.
According to the citizen, an Indian worker at his grocery store called to tell him about the incident, so securitymen accompanied Criminal Evidences Men to the scene and lifted fingerprints. A case was registered.

Maid reports sponsor: An Asian housemaid accused her sponsor and his wife of beating her inside their home in Surra area. A case was registered against the sponsors. They will be called for investigation.

Boy sexually abused: An 18-year-old boy accused another juvenile of sexual harassment in Ishbiliya area. Father of the boy filed a case with policemen in the area when his son notified him of the act.

Owner hit, car stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified person who stole a car thief belonging to a 38-year-old citizen working for the air cargo section at the Kuwait International Airport, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
In his complaint to the Firdous Police Station the man said he pulled over outside a grocery shop in Mahboula and was standing by the car. Suddenly the suspect appeared and he hit him on the leg with a hard object and he fell on the ground.
The man quickly got into his vehicle and drove off. The victim says he does not know the man. He also says he does not know why the man hit him.

Man held with drug pills: The Ahmadi securitymen have arrested a Kuwaiti man who is believed to be in his 30s for consuming drugs and possessing drug pills. He was arrested while driving along a road in Wafra, reports Annahar daily.
According to a security source the securitymen were manning a checkpoint and out of the blue saw a citizen approaching. The man looked confused and was in a hurry to get through the checkpoint. However after he was referred for inspection, police discovered he was under the influence of drugs and seized from him drug pills.

18-year-old girl missing: An Egyptian woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a missing persons report on her 18-year-old sister at the Nugra Police Station, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
In her complaint to the police the Egyptian said her sister left the house in the morning when she was getting ready to go to work.
According to her she went to visit a friend. She said she discovered her absence when she returned from work in the evening.
She also said she contacted all her friends and no one seems to know her whereabouts.
