I am working in Kuwait and my family is staying with me. My wife recently went to India on holidays. Over there, she got a new passport while updating the current address. But the Kuwait residence visa is stamped on her old passport only. Now she has a new passport which does not have any visa stamp. When she enquired about this the authorities said that there would be no problems in going to Kuwait.
I want to clarify this with you – will she face any problems?

Answer: No, she will not face any problems as long as she has the old passport with her. But after she reaches Kuwait you have to get the residence endorsed on the new passport within one month of her arrival, failing which you could be asked to pay KD 10/- per day, after the first 30 days.
