Dependent visa - For Father (Widower)

Can I get a dependent visa for my father? My salary is KD 375/- and my wife is a school teacher earning KD 200/-. My father is widower and old. There is no one to take care of him in Pakistan. I am the only son.

Name withheld

Answer:
All such applications are considered on a case by case basis. You have to convince the authorities that there is no-one to look after your father. Under normal circumstances you would not find it difficult to get a dependent visa for your father, but with the current restrictions on visas for a number of nationalities, including Pakistanis, it is not going to be easy.
But you should not be disheartened and must submit an application at the Immigration Department in your area. You could get it.

rareSrivi | 1/2/2012 12:00:27 PM restrictions on pakistani visa and also purely depends upon the manager to approve the visa. father is widower, arrange mother death certificate to be attested by foreign affairs of pakistan and kuwait embassy, then apply, no one to take care, normally not allowed. but possible, try ur luck. purely on manager approval.
