Magic tools found on Egyptian expatriate

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 15: An Egyptian expatriate violating residency law was arrested by security operatives in Hawalli area late Saturday night, with magic-related tools in his keep.
The officers, while on patrol, had noticed the suspect inside a car at a parking lot and approached him for questioning. It was then they discovered he didn’t have valid residency. The officers went ahead and conducted a check inside his car and found tools for practicing magic. He was referred to the concerned authority without delay.

Local brew: An Asian expatriate was taken into custody when securitymen discovered he had local brew in his possession at a checkpoint in Farwaniya area. The suspect has since been referred to Drug Prosecution.

Duo in fight: A citizen was injured as he engaged a compatriot in a quarrel at the headquarters of a constituency in Jabriya area.
The injured party is said to have filed a report in a police station to report the incident and supported his claim with a medical report.

Thief sought: Police are looking for an unidentified thief for breaking into a car which was parked in the parking lot of a well-known commercial complex and stealing valuables.
Acting on information personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department rushed to the spot and lifted fingerprints to identify the thief. A case has been registered at the Hawalli Police Station.

Drugs seized:
A youth was apprehended by patrolmen on the King Fahad Expressway with an unspecified quantity of narcotic pills in his possession.
Sources said the suspect with the contraband has since been referred to the relevant authority for necessary action.

Filipino robbed: A Filipino man has filed a complaint with the Salmiya Police Station accusing two unidentified Arabs of stealing his expensive cell phone.
In his complaint the man said he was inside a commercial complex in Salmiya and the duo approached him and requested to use his cell phone to make an urgent call.
They pretended to dial the number and in a swift movement escaped with the phone. Police are looking for the suspects.
