KUWAIT CITY, Jan 29: A young GCC national has been arrested and referred to the Criminal Investigation Department for molesting a Kuwaiti woman in a market in the Capital governorate, reports Al-Rai daily.
The youth kept flirting with the woman although she steadily ignored him and taking advantage of the crowds, he dared to touch her. The woman screamed for help and a passersby caught the youth and called police who rushed to the place and arrested him.
The youth had a criminal record and was wanted by law.

Doctor assaulted: A Kuwaiti man was arrested for banging a computer on the head of a doctor at the Maternity Hospital, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The Kuwaiti claimed that the doctor did not properly attend to his wife who was admitted in the hospital and assaulted the doctor in his cabin.
A case of assaulting and insulting an official on duty has been registered against the Kuwaiti.

Girl attempts suicide: A 17-year-old Kuwaiti girl has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Farwaniya Hospital after she tried to kill herself by swallowing a large quantity of tablets, reports Al-Anba daily.
The girl’s family could not explain why she took the extreme step. A case of attempted suicide has been registered.

Restaurants shut: Minister of Commerce and Industry Amani Buresli has issued instructions to close down two well-known restaurants in Al-Qosour and Al-Qurain areas for serving meat unfit for human consumption, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The administrative decisions were to be implemented with immediate effect.
Al-Watan Arabic daily had quoted Undersecretary for Control Affairs at the ministry Abdullah Al-Ali as saying that the minister had ordered the closure of nine other restaurants for the same reason.
