MEW bill payments via phone eyed 3rd phase of strategic plan implemented
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 30: The Assistant Undersecretary for Consumer Affairs Jassem Al-Lunqawi said the department has started implementation of the third phase of the ministry’s strategic plan to facilitate the payment of water and electricity bills via phone, using Android and IOS programs, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Al-Lunqawi added the Department is in the process of discussions with service company K-Net to complement online payment services that enables consumers to make inquiries on bills and pay for them online.
