Al-Barrak speaks at his election seminar
‘Age-long crisis tearing country apart’ Al-Barrak holds final poll seminar
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1: Everybody craves a united Kuwait, just as all citizens know that opposition lawmakers of the previous National Assembly reiterated the wishes of citizens at their meeting with His Highness the Amir.
Fourth Constituency candidate Musallam Al-Barrak made the disclosure at the final election seminar in his campaign headquarters at Ardiya Wednesday. He considered “good” members of the ruling family as friends and noted that age long crisis is tearing the country apart with spread of hatred among citizens. He cited a satellite station spreading corrupt messages that people do not desire.
Amid protests by numerous supporters urging the former MP to drop microphone belonging to Al-Watan Satellite Channel, Al-Barrak heeded their call, and said ‘they want everybody to be busy so they can steal’.
He also promised to stop those behind a specific personality who has been insulting some tribes in Kuwait, alleging that Jassem Al-Khorafi sponsored a TV channel KD 800,000 and that channel is owned by the person he is referring to. He threatened to provide relevant documents if anybody challenges him over the claim.
