KUWAIT CITY, Feb 13: A woman was injured when she was beaten by her husband publicly at the parking area of a commercial complex. She was referred to the hospital and after receiving the medical report, she filed a case against her husband.

Father suspect: A Kuwaiti child suffered minor burns when her father poured hot water on her. He denied the accusation of his wife that he did it intentionally and defended by saying it fell on the child by mistake. Investigations are being carried out by the concerned authorities.

Drug items seized: The behavior of a young man aroused the suspicion of the police on patrol in Jahra; and on checking, they found needles and narcotic pills. The accused and the items were referred to the concerned authorities for further investigations.

Stuntmen held: A police patrol on duty in Jahra arrested five reckless youngsters for performing stunts with their vehicles on the road. The vehicles were seized by the securitymen and the youths were referred to the concerned authorities.

Man with AK-47s: Criminal Investigation Department officials arrested a Kuwaiti man in possession of two Kalashinokov rifles, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The Kuwaiti had earlier shot at policemen while they were chasing him for shooting in the air during the victory celebration of a Second Constituency candidate. He will be referred to public prosecution.
