Phone lines cut delayed
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 15: The Ministry of Communications has announced that it will postpone the application of programmed cut of telephone services in February 2012 for consumers who have failed to pay their bills on account of the National days celebrations, reports Al- Seyassah daily quoting reliable sources.
The daily added the ministry will begin cutting services from March 2012.
However, Director of General Relations Department Ahmed Ramadan said in a press release the programmed cutting of telephone services is done periodically to collect overdue money.
The daily added the ministry sends two SMS prior to disconnecting the services.
