KUWAIT CITY, Feb 23: The Head of Kuwait Road Safety Association Dr Bader Al-Matar said the level of road traffic has reached a dangerous point, reports Al-Anba daily.
He added this is a serious observation because more than 1,500,000 cars are plying on Kuwaiti roads - the roads which no longer can handle this huge number of cars. He added this is in addition to 65,000 cars which are being added to our roads every year.
He has requested HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah to take immediate steps to build a metro system to save our country from the level of traffic jam. He emphasized the metro is the only solution to this crisis.
