‘Remove stickers, pictures, slogans’ - Violators face fine
KUWAIT CITY, March 4: Assistant Undersecretary of General Traffic Department, Major General Mustafa Al-Zu’abi said with the end of the national day celebrations, any stickers, pictures or slogans on the vehicles should be removed to avoid the penalty imposed for such violations.
He also said the Traffic Department had overlooked the traffic law to allow people to express their national sentiments; however with things back to normal, officers are strictly dealing with the vehicles violating the laws.
He also added that many vehicles use stickers and pictures of flags and rulers of Kuwait as an excuse to tint their vehicles. He warned that this practice should end in order to avoid the penalty.
He pleaded to the people of Kuwait to adhere to the traffic laws and regulations and anyone caught violating the laws will have to pay a fine of minimum KD 15.
