KUWAIT CITY, March 11:: Police have arrested an Asian pimp and two compatriot housemaids who were escaping from their Kuwaiti sponsor after stealing from his house, reports Al-Rai daily.
A police patrol on routine duty in Jahra stopped the driver and noticed the worried look on all the three occupants’ faces. In due time, the driver admitted that he had urged the two women to run away from their sponsor and that he was taking them to a brothel. He confessed that he had convinced several other women to run away from their sponsors and that he earned commission on every runaway maid he handed over to pimps.

Asians to the rescue: Police have arrested an Asian expatriate for trafficking in local alcohol, reports Al-Rai daily.
The trafficker was waiting in a dark place in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and appeared nervous on seeing police. Officers then searched his car and found 70 bottles of local brew, narcotic pills and a sachet of heroin.
Sources say a number of Asians initially attempted to help the trafficker but they later ran away. Police are now trying to locate all of them.

Mandoub betrays trust: Police are looking for an Egyptian mandoub (company representative) who allegedly betrayed the trust of his Kuwaiti sponsor, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The sponsor lodged a complaint at Nugra Police Station, saying the mandoub got his own residency transferred without the sponsor’s knowledge and even sold a beauty salon to a Kuwaiti woman and received advance payment from her.
The Kuwaiti woman will be summoned for questioning and investigations will be conducted on how the mandoub transferred the residence without the knowledge of his sponsor.
