Woman harassed in Salmiya, Kuwaiti woman abducted

KUWAIT CITY, March 14: A young woman filed a complaint at Salmiya Police Station against an unidentified man, who allegedly harassed her on the road in Salmiya.
The woman provided police with a detailed description of the suspect and his vehicle’s plate number. Police are now looking for the man to verify the complaint and take the necessary action against him if proven guilty.

Woman abducted: Police are looking for five unidentified youths for kidnapping a 30-year-old Kuwaiti woman, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to security sources the suspects bundled the woman into their car and took her to an apartment in Mangaf and beat her.
Without going into details the daily said the woman has given police information about one of the kidnappers.
In a similar incident, police are conducting intense investigations to secure the release of a Kuwaiti woman who has been allegedly kidnapped by her ex-husband’s brother, reports Al-Anba daily.
The woman’s father filed a complaint at Jahra Police Station, saying the kidnapper called him and said the woman would be released if she agrees to sign a letter stating that she is giving up all her rights. The kidnapper demanded that the woman’s father come and sign the note as witness.

Actress detained: Police have arrested an unidentified actress who was reported missing by her husband, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources the woman was taken into custody while driving along a road in Salmiya.
She is believed to be a violator of residence law. The daily did not disclose the nationality either of the wife or her husband.
