KUWAIT CITY, March 16: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Saudi nationals should evacuate their properties in the divided zone in Khairan within two years from the date of ownership documents, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.

The Ministry, represented by Kuwait Municipality demanded the application of Article five in the contract signed by the two countries.

According to that article, every Saudi owning land in Khairan should evacuate it for Kuwaiti authorities within two years from the date he received his ownership documents. If any Saudi owners fail to evacuate on time, the Kuwaiti authorities have the right to force the evacuations.
