‘Nissan After-Sales Customer Meet’ kicks off Al-Babtain Group honors customers KUWAIT CITY, March 29: It is the true partnership between us as a company and you the customers that would ensure a continued bloom on both sides and without your continued support we would not be here, said Ghazi Al-Babtain, Business Development Manager of Al-Babtain Group, the sole distributors of Nissan vehicles in Kuwait as he spoke at the third “Nissan After-Sales Customer Meet” in the Afrah Ballroom of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Farwaniya Tuesday.
The event which was the third of its kind usually organized annually by management of Al-Babtain Group to honor and interact with customers, attracted a large number of Nissan parts retailers, users and Al-Babtain Group employees, was also attended by some top executives of Nissan including Mohammed Shalaby the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Ghazi Al-Babtain, Business Development Manager, David Graves, General Manager, Nissan Gulf based in Dubai and representing Japan, Mohammed Baig, Parts Administration Manager as well as other executives and invited guests.
Following the master of ceremonies, Lloyd’s introductions, Ghazi Al-Babtain, Business Development Manager for the Al-Babtain Group and Director of Gulf Express Company, a subsidiary of Al-Babtain Company specializing in automotive repair and parts distribution among other ventures said in his opening address that the event signifies the celebration of the continued special relationship between Al-Babtain’s Nissan Gulf as a company and its customers without whom the company cannot be celebrating this success.

With a special note of thanks to all levels of employees from the lowest to the highest management for their continued hard work and support at Nissan to enhance the continued premium service delivery to customers, Ghazi stated it is the true partnership between his outfit as a company and the customers that would ensure a continued bloom on both sides and without customers’ continued support “there’d be no celebration of success as we’re doing today.” All we can say to our partners is that we thank you always for your support. I’m sure next year will be a year full of challenges but as partners I’m more than sure that we shall surmount the challenges to achieve more and greater things, he added.
David Graves for his part expressed his sincere gratitude to the Al-Babtain family for their contribution and representation of the Nissan brand in Kuwait and also for their achievements year after year. He also thanked Mohammed Shalaby, Jenkins and the rest of the management crew who have steered Nissan into the achievement of excellence throughout the GCC region. He acknowledged the special contribution by customers who through their belief in the Nissan brand are helping promote it throughout Kuwait. The continued success, he concluded “cannot be shared without the full commitment of everybody sitting in this room.”
Parts Administration Manager Mohammed Baig did a slide presentation that sought to alert Nissan parts users to the existence and dangers of counterfeit parts in circulation around the world as against the genuine ones with special emphasis on oil filters and airbags.
The slide presentation was followed by the presentation of special trophies to large users of Nissan parts who included fleet, wholesale, garage and insurance customers.
The final item on the agenda before participants dispersed for interactions and dinner, was a raffle draw in which all invited guests were taking part with ten prizes at stake to be won ranging from a 42 inch LG LED TV as top prize to a Samsung mobile phone as tenth prize.
