KUWAIT CITY, April 18: The second branch of Al-Dhaman Company for the Technical Examination of Private Vehicles in Fahaheel was inaugurated Wednesday under the auspices of Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs Major General Dr Mustafa Al-Za’abi with Assistant Director General of the Traffic and Licenses Unit at the General Traffic Department (GTD) Brigadier Ehsan Al-Owaish.

In a press statement Wednesday, the Interior Ministry revealed Al-Za’abi, in his opening remarks, disclosed the inauguration of the second branch is in line with the ministry’s decision to put up more companies specialized in the field. He also praised the strong coordination between GTD and Al-Dhaman Company, wishing them continued success.

Meanwhile, Director of the Technical Examination Department Brigadier Abdullah Al-Snafi pointed out the remarkable success of the first branch of the company paved the way for the opening of another branch. He revealed the first branch checked 1,200 cars in March; 450 of which were checked during the inauguration. He also urged other companies specialized in this field to apply at the GTD to open more branches in various governorates.
