KUWAIT CITY, April 18: A Filipino maid has filed a complaint with the police accusing the son of her sponsor of molesting and raping her, reports Al-Rai daily.
In her complaint to the Farwaniya police the woman said the son surprised her when the family members were away and raped her under threat and fled.
The sponsor has been summoned for investigation.

Kidnap bid foiled: Police are looking for two young men for attempting to kidnap an unidentified Syrian woman. The incident happened in Mangaf, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
The victim in her complaint to the police said she was waiting for her friend when a four-wheel drive pulled up by her side and offered to take her to her destination. The woman refused and told them she was waiting for her friend. The one of them allegedly offered her money to go with them and when again she refused they got out of the vehicle and tried to bundle her in their vehicle.
The woman screamed for help and passersby came to her rescue.

Girl attempts suicide: A 17-year-old Kuwaiti girl who attempted to end her life by consuming a big quantity of medicines was rushed to the Adan Hospital and given stomach wash, reports Al-Anba daily. A case has been filed at the Mubarak Al-Kabir Police Station.
