KUWAIT CITY, April 27: Security campaigns were carried out by teams of securitymen from Hawally and Capital Governorates to raid certain suspected flats which was being used for parties and to arrest the people involved in illegal activities.
These teams received prior permission from the Public Prosecution to carry out these operations.
The campaigns were carried out based on directives from the Assistant Undersecretary for Security Affairs of the Interior Ministry Sheikh Ahmad Al-Khalifa.
Securitymen on Thursday arrested a group of youths and girls who were present in these suspected flats in Hawally and Capital Governorates and referred them to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.

3 held with liquor bottles: Three Asians were arrested in Khaitan for trading in local liquor among people of same nationality.
When Farwaniya police on patrol in Khaitan stopped a vehicle on suspicion and checked the identification details of the suspects, they realized that one of them was involved in a few criminal cases. They also found a liquor bottle inside the vehicle. While they were checking the vehicle, the three suspects tried to escape but they were caught by the securitymen.
Thirty liquor bottles were found inside the vehicle during investigations. The suspects admitted they sell the liquor to people of same nationality.
The suspects and the liquor bottles were referred to the General Directorate for Drug Control for necessary legal action against them.
