Fingerprints trap 36 Bangladeshis entering on Nepali passports

KUWAIT CITY, April 30: Deputy Director of the Airport Security Department Iyad Al-Haddad has referred 36 Bangladeshis to the Public Prosecution for entering the country on forged passports issued by the government of Nepal, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to security sources the forgers had earlier been deported from the country. The daily added the suspects arrived into the country on different flights.
During interrogation the forgers admitted to buying the passports from an unidentified person in Nepal each costing the equivalent of between KD 150 and KD 200.
The daily added the fingerprint system which has been installed at the airport has largely proved successful in preventing ‘unwanted’ people from entering the country.

Bangladeshi poisoned: A Bangladeshi driver working for a Kuwaiti family has been admitted to the Farwaniya Hospital after mistakenly eating rat poison, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the driver kept the poisonous substance in an empty salt container and mistakenly sprinkled it on his food.

Rape absconder held: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for driving under the influence of alcohol and impersonating police, reports Al-Anba daily.
The man approached a police checkpoint in Amman Street and claimed he was a police captain. When police checked his documents they discovered he was lying.
At the same checkpoint, police caught another Kuwaiti who was wanted by law and had been sentenced in absentia to 10 years imprisonment for ‘raping’ a female compatriot after promising to marry her.

Bangladeshi with Napali PassportAbdulkarim | 5/4/2012 8:34:56 AM As a Bangladeshi National I fill very sad about this kinds of crime, also our Embassy should take action with Nepal Immigration, that, how they issue their passport for other national, this must be stoped immedetly.
Bangladeshi's with Nepali passportsMohammed Faisal | 5/2/2012 11:35:24 AM I would like to request ARAB TIMES not to publish fake and incomplete news. This information is incorrect. Out of 65 all were not with NEPALI passport. Few were the existing people working here for govt and private sectors. They were detained and deported just because the passport is not renewed as per the standerds of digital one. But what sense does it make to just send someone back to his home county because he has no digital passport??? This is inhuman. I respect the fact that Kuwait is being strict in the law but there are somethings which is just done for no reason.
Bangladeshi's with Nepali passportsMohammed Faisal | 5/1/2012 10:09:54 AM Im also a BANGLADESHI. But its sad to hear that these people who are so reluctant to come in kuwait with foregry just to create a bad impact and the wrong doings. Once they are deported they just need to find a way out back to Kuwait. Criminal acts are not enough which they had performed in the past so they need to reapt the offence by coming back. If Poverty is so much, then why only choose Kuwait? just because you can earn good. If this is so they why to do wrong things? We some people feel like becomin g rich in a short period and not one we its to all asians who reside here. If you have no back up you fear of doing wrong things, but if you know you have a good back up then the crime is born to do wrong doings. And the back is non other than the KUWAITIS here. They are also to be blamed.
