Iranian sorcerer nabbed cheating women
KUWAIT CITY, May 2: Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have arrested an Iranian man for practicing sorcery and cheating women, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to reports the women went to the man with their problems and paid him lot of money in the belief he could solve their problems.
When some of the women felt the man was cheating them, they filed a complaint against him.
Armed with a search and arrest warrant, police then set a trap for him and caught him red-handed while receiving KD 500 from a police agent.
Police then raided his apartment in Bneid Al-Gar and seized various types of magic charms used by the man in his trade.
He has been handed over to the Public Prosecution.
Doctor assaulted: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti man for humiliating and assaulting an Arab doctor working at government polyclinic in Ahmadi, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to reports the suspect went to the doctor because he felt unwell. The doctor checked the patient and said there was nothing wrong with him and this enraged the Kuwaiti.
The Kuwaiti lost his temper, got into a verbal spat with the doctor, called him ignorant and kicked and punched the doctor and left.
Acting on information a police patrol rushed to the polyclinic, arrested the patient and took him to a police station.
A case insulting and beating a doctor on duty has been filed against him.
Ex-wife beaten: Police have summoned a Kuwaiti man for interrogation for allegedly breaking into the home of his ex-wife in Al-Dhaher and assaulting her, reports Al-Shahed daily.
Following the incident the ex-wife telephoned the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior.
The department dispatched police to the home of the victim but failed to find the suspect.
