KUWAIT CITY, May 8: An 18-year-old Kuwaiti girl who tried in vain to end her life by consuming a large quantity of medicine pills was rushed to the Jahra Hospital and given stomach wash, reports Alam Alyawm daily.
According to security sources the victim tried to end her life inside her home in Saad Al-Abdullah. The daily did not give more details.

Kuwaiti stabbed: A Kuwaiti man who was allegedly stabbed by unidentified persons in the United Arab Emirates has been hospitalized in Dubai, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
According to available information, the Kuwaiti whose identity has not been disclosed was visiting Dubai and while shopping in a well-known commercial complex, a group of youths pounced on him and one of them stabbed him with a knife on various parts of his body. Security sources say the suspects have been arrested and detained for interrogation to know the reason behind the incident.

Man found dead: The remains of an unidentified British engineer who reportedly died of heart failure have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Shahed daily.
Without going into details the daily said the victim worked for the oil sector in Ahmadi.
