Police nab Indian ‘wanted’ in KD 6,200 theft case 35 residence law violators held

KUWAIT CITY, May 11: The Jahra police during a security campaign in and around the Amghara Scrapyard are said to have arrested 35 expatriates for violating residence laws, reports Al-Shahed daily.
During the campaign police have also arrested two Kuwaitis who were wanted by law for committing several crimes and possessing drugs.
Police also found three abandoned cars which were reported stolen and issued 97 citations to reckless motorists.
Meanwhile, security patrols from the Capital governorate have arrested an Indian man for violating residence law, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Police records show the suspect was also wanted by law in KD 6,200 theft case.
He was taken to the Shuwaikh Industrial Area Police Station before handing over to the Sentences Enforcement Department.
