I went to Shuwaikh Immigration office to get a family visa for my wife. My salary is KD450/- per month, but the person concerned said my salary should be a minimum KD600/- to get the visa.

Answer: The person you contacted at the Immigration Dept must have made a mistake in understanding your question or maybe you didn’t understand him. There has been no change in the rules and the requirement is still the same — you should be earning at least KD250 only to be eligible to apply for a dependent visa.
So, we suggest that you go there again and present your application alongwith the relevant papers. If you are earning KD450 and this is mentioned on the work permit you should not have any problem.
