‘I have money problems’; Filipina cheats Kuwaiti
KUWAIT CITY, May 23:: A Kuwaiti man has filed a complaint with the Maidan Hawalli Police Station accusing a Filipino woman of swindling him to the tune of KD 12,000, reports Al-Anba daily.
In his complaint, the man said he has a maids recruiting office and that he in partnership with the woman was bringing Filipino maids into Kuwait bypassing the rules and regulations laid down by the Philippines government for hiring Filipino maids.
The man added he gave the woman KD 1,200 and she brought for him two maids. When he gave her KD 12,000 to bring 20 maids, she reportedly escaped with the money.
Police are looking for the suspect.
‘I have money problems’: A Bangladeshi man who alleged stole valuables from his sponsor’s house has been handed over to the police, reports Al-Mustaqbal daily.
According to security source the sponsor caught the suspect red-handed with the stolen goods in the vicinity of his home.
During interrogation the man admitted to the charge and said he was facing financial problems back home.
Lawyer cheated: An unidentified lawyer has filed a complaint with the Maidan Hawalli Police Station accusing a woman, who owns a chain of beauty parlors, of fraud and cheating him, reports Al-Anba daily.
In his complaint the lawyer said he signed a contract with the woman to handle all legal issues for a fee. The terms of the contract also said the woman has agreed to pay the rent of the lawyer’s office.
The lawyer claims the woman has violated the terms of the contract.
