Indian cuts of his own ‘organ’
KUWAIT CITY, May 28: A 40-year-old Indian who reportedly cut off his private organ has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Farwaniya Hospital, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to security sources the victim was rushed to the hospital by his brother under strange circumstances.
Police are waiting for the victim to recover to interrogate him. In the meantime a case of attempted suicide has been filed against him.
During interrogation the brother said he is unaware of the reasons that led his sibling to commit this dastardly act.
Drugs seized: Plainclothes police have arrested three Kuwaitis and referred them to the General Department for Drug Control for possessing two sachets of heroin and 16 drug pills, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources the suspects were arrested from a suburb of Farwaniya by a police patrol on routine duty in the area.
The sources said the men were riding in a Japanese car and when they saw the police patrol drive by their tried in vain to change route.
Police then ordered the man behind the wheel to pull over and inspected the vehicle and seized the drugs.
Maids suspect: A Kuwaiti man has filed a complaint with the Fahd Al-Ahmad Police Station accusing unidentified persons of breaking into his house and stealing jewelry worth KD 6,000 in addition to 8,600 Saudi riyals, nine civil IDs belonging to his family and 11 passports, reports Al-Anba daily.
In his complaint to the police the man said he discovered the theft after he returned home from a supermarket.
He added he suspects the two maids who were at home when the theft allegedly took place.
Police have summoned the maids for interrogation.
