Eight nabbed in Hawally vice den raid
KUWAIT CITY, May 28: Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department have arrested three Asian pimps and five cross-dressers in Hawally, reports Al-Dar daily.
Acting on information that an apartment in the area has been transformed into a vice den, the officers rushed to the location where the suspects were arrested.
During interrogation, the suspects admitted to engaging in immoral acts, so they were referred to the relevant security department for prosecution.
‘Cheaters’ caught: The anti-corruption personnel are said to have arrested a four-man gang - two Kuwaitis, a Lebanese and an Indian - for cheating people and forging cheques, reports Al-Rai daily.
Without going into details the daily said police acting on information set a trap for the Kuwaitis and arrested them.
During interrogation the men admitted to the charges against them and led police to their two expatriate accomplices. All of them have been referred to the competent authorities.
