Police arrest 4 Kuwaitis for carrying heroin and hashish

KUWAIT CITY, May 30: The Farwaniya police have arrested four Kuwaitis for possessing a quantity of heroin and hashish, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources a police patrol saw a vehicle being driven recklessly. The police patrol followed the vehicle and ordered the man behind the wheel to pull over.
Police then searched the vehicle and seized the drugs. The suspects and the drugs have been referred to the General Department for Drug Control.

2 held with drugs: The Hawalli police have arrested two persons — a Kuwaiti and an Egyptian — for possessing 45 drug pills, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to security sources the men were arrested on suspicion when a police patrol on routine duty suspected two men in a car which was parked behind a well-known commercial complex.
When the patrolmen approached the suspects they got out of the vehicle and tried in vain to escape.
They have been handed over to the General Department for Drug Control.

Drug addict in ICU: A 20-year-old Kuwaiti who was found unconscious next to his vehicle in Fintas following an overdose of drugs has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Adan Hospital, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources police have found inside the car drugs consuming tools.
A case against the youth has been registered at the area police station. Police are waiting for the youth to recover to interrogate him.
