KUWAIT CITY, June 2: The dust over the deceptive practices of the ‘members of aggravation’ has been removed. The truth behind the baseless accusations, which these people have been using to implement personal agendas, has been exposed.

According to the Audit Bureau, the foreign transfer allegations are baseless, while the Ministerial Court had earlier dismissed the case. What did these people say after that? What else do they have in their hands to hurl at Sheikh Nasser? Don’t they know the reason or there is no one to cure stupidity?
HH Sheikh Nasser, whoever treated you justly is not a political trader. This step was taken by an institution and no one in Kuwait can cast doubt on its impartiality. These people, who have accused you wrongly, want to soil the reputation of virtuous statesmen in Kuwait by tarnishing your image. Thus, we apologize on behalf of the people of Kuwait who, at one time, allowed spiteful vengeance-seekers to hurl false accusations at you, inspired by their sick imagination.

They claimed you are the biggest bribe-taker in the Middle East. They questioned your conscience and impartiality. They were not even deterred from interfering in your personal affairs. They accused you of so many things, revealing the hatred in their souls. Over and above that, their delusions had prompted them to brag about referring you to the Ministerial Court, but you thwarted their plan by presenting yourself to the court. However, justice prevailed and it led to your acquittal. When they realized that their lies have come out into the open, they were nervous and frustrated. They want to undermine the judicial independence by demanding to be the judges, litigants and executioners in cases involving ministers. They have passed laws to hijack State institutions, but in the end, their efforts proved futile.

Sagacity
HH Sheikh Nasser, these people lack sagacity. Your devotion to Kuwait has infuriated them; thus, they came up with the most outrageous accusations. They claimed you are an Iranian spy; they even insulted your faith. They did all these to deceive the public, up to the extent of tarnishing the reputation of some people in the Gulf countries. Nevertheless, Allah — the Almighty — lent a helping hand to you by disappointing them and they will always be disappointed. Long ago someone said a greedy person believes a liar all the time. Greedy people believe the fabricated stories, hoping they will get whatever the group of liars had promised them. They have been filling their conscience with false accusations.
Indeed, your highness, they were infuriated when the Constitution affirmed your conscientiousness and trustworthiness; something which frustrated them because they are accustomed to blackmail. They use blackmail in dealing with voters, ministers and Sate institutions; and the most painful thing for these people is the implementation of the Constitution and the law. Everyone uncovered the truth behind the fabricated stories against you when you stressed the need for the Constitution to be the ‘arbitrator’ between you and your adversaries who claimed to have information which they don’t actually possess. They have proclaimed themselves as protectors of the Constitution but when it was used to settle disputes, they covered their eyes and ears to avoid facing the truth.

Experience
People usually learn from previous experiences. Since the group of political deception has started playing their heinous games, the public has been paying attention, comparing what is being said with what is being done. The people of Kuwait have seen how this group hampered the development plans in the  present National Assembly. Before that, they aborted the refinery project, the development of northern fields and the power crisis prevention scheme in 2007. They pushed for the cancellation of the Dow Chemical deal, causing enormous losses amounting to $2.16 billion, and now they are trying to impede the Al-Zour electricity project. They keep on saying that these projects will be implemented over their dead bodies.

Why didn’t they ask themselves if the people know who has been tampering with Kuwait’s projects and exerting efforts to disrupt the work of the government? Several governments and ministers have resigned due to the smear campaigns launched by this group. They accuse every Kuwaiti of receiving bribes; alleging certain citizens have benefitted from the stolen public funds. They hurl accusations at others without evidence because they indulge in transgression, deception and provocation. They had accused the people’s prime minister under the guise of protecting public funds, as if the ruling family is from Mozambique or the ancient city of Timbuktu, not from the generous people of Kuwait who have been endorsing the rule of the Sabah family for 350 years — since the rule of the founding father Sheikh Sabah I. They act is as if the prime minister from the Sabah family is not a citizen of Kuwait.

Sincere
Let us be sincere in looking into what the silent people of Kuwait have gone through due to the actions of this group, and the magnitude of suffering they have caused. The people of Kuwait are now looking with grieving eyes at ruling family members who supported the group of liars against their cousins, wondering how they managed to wallow in this destructive mob.

Allah — the Almighty — does what He wants, but those who have abandoned their kinship have yet to attain the victory they have been clamoring for. Even those who were against Sheikh Nasser did not get what they wanted; in fact, they dishonored themselves by humiliating their cousins.

Most of the people of Kuwait agree on the importance of rectifying errors in the ruling family in accordance with the law, so we can get rid of the social cancer spreading in Kuwait. This social illness blocks investments and huge economic development projects. We lag behind our neighbors as we have done nothing but create a negative impression that we don’t honor our contracts and agreements.

HH Sheikh Nasser you have forgiven them and you have given up your rights so many times. Noble people always forgive and you are among the nobles of this country. Unfortunately, these people do not understand the real meaning of forgiveness and tolerance. In fact, their absurdity had driven them towards interfering in your personal affairs. Everyone knows you had a lavish life while you were studying in France and Switzerland; before others could even grasp the meaning of the word ‘lavish’. Why not live a lavish life? Isn’t it a way of enjoying the blessings of our Creator? Because of this, they started insinuating that you own thousands of cars as if you took money from their pockets; they even went a step further by accusing you of wasting public funds, whereas the evidence shows you use your own money in helping the needy.

Criticism
Short-sighted people think political criticism means defaming others — a deviation from the right democratic practice. Sadly, those inflicted with the ‘hatred disease’ are the only ones who understand the voters’ irritation. For this, they hampered the big projects of your government to annoy you, not because these projects are futile. They were oblivious to the fact that they were also driving themselves mad, as well as their compatriots. Everyone is now aware who poses a grave threat to the country and its people. 
You have tolerated their negative attitudes and you have been patient for quite a long time because you wanted to serve the interest of Kuwait. You dealt with your adversaries in a civilized manner in order to ensure the realization of the aspirations of every Kuwaiti. You worked with confidence and fortitude because you know Kuwait is more precious than anything else, and victory comes to those who wait. Kuwait’s victory is shared by the sincere and loyal people.

It is not an exaggeration to say that the Audit Bureau and Ministerial Court have treated you fairly. The people of Kuwait will do the same because your victory is the victory of the nation. For us, you will always be a symbol of the ruling family. You are the national symbol of sincerity and devotion to our beloved country. On the other hand, they will fall like dry leaves due to their futile fabrications which no one is buying anymore.
